The Rotary Club of Steveston is proud to support the First Tee Program in memory of our good friend and fellow Rotarian Jack Evans.

First Tee – British Columbia is a youth development program offered by Golf Canada that introduces the game of golf and its inherent values to young people. Through after school and in school programs, they help shape the lives of young people from all walks of life by reinforcing values like integrity, respect and perseverance through the game of golf.

Their mission is to impact the lives of young people by providing educational programs that build character, promote life-enhancing values and healthy choices through the game of golf. In collaboration with the PGA of Canada, First Tee – British Columbia instills character development as a fundamental element of Golf Canada’s junior golf program (First Tee, 2022).
